Milk Jug - Line Cobalt - Second Quality
All of the products in our sale have been made by the hands of the same incredibly highly skilled craftspeople who make our first quality pieces. The processes involved in creating our collections are complex, incredibly specialised and of course lead to some products falling outside of our accepted standards. It is in these imperfections that we see the touch of the human hand. You may find misaligned decoration, ‘pinholes’ in the glaze, or slightly different colouration in the patterns, but each item has been carefully chosen to ensure that they remain true to the function and aesthetic at the heart of each of our designs.
We advise that all Line Cobalt pieces should be hand-washed as this colour has not been tested for dishwasher durability.

Line celebrates the pure white quality of English fine bone china and Richard Brendon’s refined ceramic shapes. Designed with versatility in mind, Line can be paired seamlessly with a variety of our collections. It's ideal for breaking up patterns and creating dynamic table settings, whilst also providing a clean canvas, making it perfect for food presentation.

Craftsmanship Story
The production of pottery in Stoke-on-Trent dates back to at least the 17th century, and still today every piece of our bone china is made to the absolute highest quality by master craftspeople in Stoke-on-Trent.
The knowledge and experience passed down through generations of potters have contributed to the expert processes used in the creation of all of our bone china collections. By working in Stoke-on-Trent, we support this heritage British industry and work to preserve and refine the masterful craft techniques and processes that make it the best in the world.
Each piece features a coloured line, which has been individually and masterfully handpainted by our skilled team of craftspeople.
Product Care
The wonderful thing about bone china is it is incredibly easy to clean, which makes it perfect for everyday use.
Most Line pieces can be cleaned in a dishwasher - at a maximum temperature of 60°C.
We would recommend hand washing Gold pieces.
Gold pieces are not microwave safe.
Stubborn stains can be removed by soaking in a mild bleach solution for up to one hour without damaging the china. Scouring pads or abrasive washing agents must not be used.

This product is made to order, meaning each is handmade for you by our craftspeople in Stoke-on-Trent. With that in mind, we ask that you allow up to six weeks from order confirmation to dispatch.
The standard delivery times once the order has been dispatched are:

Due to this product being handmade, our Line Collection is not eligible for returns.
