Cocktail Rocks Glass
Designed for strong cocktails served on the rocks, this glass is ideal for Old Fashioned's, Negronis, Margaritas on ice, and more. Though it looks small thanks to its fine construction, the capacity is surprisingly generous — perfectly sized for short cocktails where ice fills most of the glass. The thin rim enhances every sip, keeping the focus on the drink.
The Rocks Glass has been refreshed for 2025 as our second-generation design, subtly refined to elevate the experience of your favourite cocktail. It is now available exclusively as a set of four.
Collection Story
Richard designed the Cocktail Collection in 2020, during the pandemic, when he found himself making far more cocktails at home and missing his favourite bars. He quickly realised that most cocktail glasses on the market were not designed by people who actually made cocktails; their shapes and capacities were often impractical.
So, he set out to design a collection of functionally perfect, beautifully light cocktail glasses. As always, he turned to experts, this time leading London mixologists, to ensure every shape, proportion, and capacity was absolutely spot on.
The result is a collection inspired by the simple, elegant forms of late Victorian and Edwardian glassware, pieces Richard has long admired while scouring Portobello Road antiques markets. Just like those historic designs, each glass is ultralight and perfectly balanced.
Following the same logic as the Jancis Robinson Collection, every detail has been considered. The capacities match the cocktails exactly, the rims are gossamer thin so they almost disappear when you sip, yet fractionally thicker than our wine glasses for added durability. This makes them both a joy to use at home and robust enough for busy bars.
Crafted in lead free crystal, each piece is strong, dishwasher safe, and designed to perform night after night. These are glasses that elevate cocktails to their full potential, elegant, functional, and timeless.

Craftsmanship Story
All pieces in the collection, other than the Rocks and Highball glass, have been expertly mouth-blown by masters in their field. There are very few glassblowers who have the skill to make glassware as fine and exacting as required, but rounds of international sampling revealed some of the very best fine glassblowers in the world. These craftspeople individually hand-make the glasses, so while each piece conforms to our high standards, there may be slight elements of variation which show the touch of the human hand.
The Rocks and Highball glass are machine made by one of the best glass-blowing machines in the world. Each piece is identical to the last, providing a level of consistency and precision that cannot be achieved when hand making.
Product Care
The Cocktail Collection has been designed with a gossamer thin rim, so as to experience as much of the cocktail as possible. Despite this, every piece is suitable for the dishwasher; indeed this would be our recommended method of cleaning so as to avoid unnecessary handling.
You should place the glassware on the top rack of the dishwasher making sure there is enough space between each piece. If you do need to wash the pieces by hand, we recommend that you fill the glasses halfway with hot soapy water and leave them to soak before being thoroughly, but gently rinsed. Be careful not to let the glasses touch the sink, rings or other washing up items as this can lead to chips or even breakages.
Use our large polishing cloth to gently polish the glasses should you need to.
