Minton Saucer, c.1845 and Platinum Reflect Teacup

Minton Saucer, c.1845 and Platinum Reflect Teacup

£289.00 GBP

This striking, Japanese-inspired pattern has vines of elegant disc-shaped flowers emanating from a central tureen is typical of the Minton style in the mid-19th Century. This is a beautiful and eye-catching pattern which is just as relevant today as it was c.180 years ago when it was made. Minton, one of the most highly regarded bone china manufacturers in the world, became well known for their use of elegant patterns, mostly in blue white and gold.

Each teacup and saucer set comes with a gift card detailing the history of the antique saucer.

Collection Story

The Reflect collection started with our teacup, which brings life back to antique saucers missing their other halves by using platinum and gold gilding to create highly reflective cups. The mirrored cups reflect the patterned saucers, giving them a new lease of life and a place in contemporary homes.

Each cup is skilfully decorated and then paired with a saucer, all of which have been meticulously sourced from antique dealers across Britain. Reflect has now grown to include matching teapots, milk jugs, sugar bowls and coffee cups, to complete the collection.
