Collection
London, 1650
In celebration of our capital's glassblowing heritage and London Craft Week 2021, "London, 1650" is a limited collection of bottles and tumblers, skilfully mouth blown in London by master glassblower, Simon Moore.
The inspiration for the collection came to Richard when he discovered several unusual yet strikingly beautiful antique bottles, dark green in colour and with a personalised seal impressed in the glass.
After discovering they were first made in London c.
1650, he found they were made with new glassmaking techniques at the time, allowing for much stronger bottles to be produced in order to transport beer and wine, as well as allow for the fermentation and production of Champagne for the first time.
Each London, 1650 piece is finished with a bespoke RB seal, which has been designed specially for the collection.
The products will sit comfortably in any contemporary living space, whilst telling a rich story about our capital's heritage.
Handcrafted design
Every piece of our bone china and crystal has passed through several pairs of hands before it arrives at your table. That's what we mean when we say handmade.
